Why is the sky blue?

Hi teachers and friends! Today, I am going to explain why is the sky blue. I think that the sky is blue because transmitted light ( from the sun, light bulbs, fire, etc ) is made up of a specturm of colour. The longest wavelengths of light are on the red end of the specturm and the shortest wavelengths are on the blue or violet and of the specturm. This is all what I know about the sky. I will also be reading some science book to know more about the sky and lots of other things. Of course, there is a lot of other answers that why the sky is blue. Once again, I want to thanks everyone for listening to some of my sugessted answers. Thank you!
